1989 - Racar was founded in 1989 in the USA by founder Mr. Naru Mistry. BSc. MSc. Naru Mistry has combined experience of over 40+ years in Engineering and Business Operations.

Racar was first located in Anderson Indiana (USA) largely supplying design and engineering for GM parts manufacturer (Guide Corp) with specialty application of plastic injection molded auto lighting requirements.

1995 - Racar expand their offices from Indiana to Warren Michigan to support GM in their Styling Studio.

1998 - Racar expands further by setting up offices worldwide from Americas to Europe and Asia to support their customers.

EUROPE - Racar has major successes in Advance Battery Management Enclosures, Underbonnet Components, Interior Trim & Seating, IP Engineering. Exterior A-Surface Engineering, Mechanical Assembly Design, Front End Plastic Modules, Bumpers and many more systems for Ford and Jaguar Land Rover. Racar was a core team player in helping Aston Martin engineers launch their iconic sapphire & steel 'Remote Keyless Vehicle Entry System'. The European office has a wealth of experiance of FMCG, white & Electronic packaging design coupled with knowledge and experiance of Full Services Supplier activities to large OEMs.

1999 - Racar wins a major contract with Delphi Electronics to develop onboard entertainment system, which would also be supplied to GM, FORD and TOYOTA.

2001 - Delphi awards Racar another new contract to develop in-car radios with built-in GPS systems.

2004 - Racar's continuing relationship with Delphi leads to full design to manufacturing responsibilities.

2005 - Racar undertakes complex tooling programs with Visteon

- Racar aquires expertise that will give it the edge to take on programs from inception to manufacturing launch.

2007 - Racar expands Asia based electronics programs to support OEMs with embedded software applications.

2008 - As result of the downturn and sudden cut in work by OEMs, Racar diversify by extending its reach into non-automotive products. Non-automotive projects are brought forward.

2009 - Racar has ventured in automated towel dispensers, Gensets energy system and small battery technologies. Racar also extends its experience of working with a major pharmaceutical company Eli Lily designing pill dispenser and pill sorting machines.
